Following the events of Monday evening, this week has been a difficult time for everybody in our school community. Today, along with the rest of the Nation, we observed a minute’s silence as a sign of respect and a chance for reflection. Our students demonstrated a level of maturity and compassion which is characteristic of Saddleworth students.
School staff have been supporting students to cope with these tragic events and will of course continue to do so. The University of Manchester have provided some guidance on how best to support young people through traumatic events. It may be useful to you as parents/carers should you need some information on how best to support your child. This can be found on the link provided.
