FAQ GCSE Results Day

Thursday 22nd August 2024 9:30am – 11am in the main assembly hall. (From 11am onwards, results can be collected from reception.)

I CAN’T COLLECT MY RESULTS IN PERSON, WHAT CAN I DO?
· The student should provide the school with a signed letter telling us who will be picking up the results on their behalf prior to results day. This should state clearly the student’s name, the name of the person collecting on their behalf and say explicitly that they give their permission. This letter needs to be given to our Exams Officer, Miss Ogden.
· When picking up the results, the nominated person will need to provide some form of photographic ID  e.g. passport, driving licence etc. This identity should match the name given as the person collecting in the student’s letter.
Please note that cannot be given out unless the above procedure has been followed and the school has been informed prior to results day. Anyone collecting results on behalf of a student should arrive at school between 9:30 and 11:00 on the 22nd August.

I AM NOT HAPPY WITH MY RESULTS, WHAT CAN I DO?
There will be members of staff to talk to on the day who can advise you on what to do next.
On the school website, there will be a post-results form which talks you through the process if you wish to order a review of marking.
Please discuss with a member of senior staff before requesting any post results services.
More general information regarding post results services can be found here: https://www.jcq.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/2024/04/Post-Results-Service_24_FINAL.pdf

WHEN ARE EXAMS CERTIFICATES DISTRIBUTED?
Exam certificates will be available at or after the presentation evening in late 2024, when all enquires have been dealt with. You will receive a communication inviting you to this evening in the new school year. Please ensure that school has the right contact information for you.
