Anti-Bullying

At Saddleworth School, we expect all students to demonstrate the utmost respect to one another. We expect all students to treat each other how they would like to be treated, with kindness, empathy and acceptance of all.

Saddleworth School is a community in which we do not tolerate bullying. Everybody is welcome and everyone has the right to feel safe and secure in school. In order to support this, we ensure that we treat all bullying concerns with the utmost seriousness, ensuring that victims have a voice and are supported, whilst also ensuring we provide bespoke education to any students that require it, ensuring all students have a good understanding of the importance of kindness for everyone.

Reporting Bullying

We understand that standing up for bullying, whilst always the right thing to do, isn’t always the easiest, so therefore we have re-launched our “Stand up” reporting system. This system is in line with our “Stand up for Saddleworth” equality principles, in which we want all people to stand up for equality and the rights of all. Nobody should suffer in silence so we encourage anybody within the Saddleworth community who is a victim or witness of bullying, to make a noise so it can be resolved swiftly and limits the harm that is caused. If you wish to report, please click our “Stand up” icon below and this will take you to the reporting form that will be sent to relevant staff.

Anti-Bullying ambassadors

At Saddleworth School, we proudly boast a team of hard-working students who are here to support and promote the importance of kindness and tolerance. Our anti-bullying ambassadors are committed to eradicating bullying through raising awareness across the school. This is done through form time presentations, delivery of assemblies and fundraising for various charities that align with our values in regards to removing bullying from our school.
